Marthe Vassallo's curiosity led her from opera to theater and dance sets, without ever losing sight of her primary love for traditional Breton singing, kan ha diskan and solo a capella. In addition to his solo work, the diversity of his collaborations (Gilles Le Bigot and Jean-Michel Veillon, Loened Fall, Nolùen Le Buhé and Annie Ebrel, the Orchester Symphonique de Bretagne, the chamber choir Mélisme (s), the Bagad Kemper, Lydia Domancich, Philippe Ollivier, etc… and numerous exchanges with musicians from other countries) reflects her appetite and her quest always deepened: "Trying to understand and rediscover the mystery of the moment, what happens when someone says truly something to those who listen to him - and everything that also tells the way he says it, in every society, every microcosm, every situation ... Ten lives would not be enough, but in this one, we have everything the same time to understand two or three things!"
She is also an author (song lyrics, blog on www.marthevassallo.com), book-disc Les chants du livre bleu at Son an Ero, collection of interviews with singer Marcel Le Guilloux for Dastum ...), and reserves a part of her time in transmission, teaching and sometimes research - all activities which, for her, are part of a single process, in continuity with her life as a singer and "storyteller".
