Saptak Sharma is a promising tabla player from the so-called "Ajrada" tradition.

He started playing tabla at the age of four. For the past nine years, he has been training in Delhi under renowned tabla master Akram Khan. Saptak was awarded the National Academy of Dance, Drama and Music, Sangeet Natak Academy , Uttar Pradesh in 2014.

A professional percussionist, he plays as much on the classical stage as in “contemporary music” projects.
