Duduk

Caucasus, Turkey, Iran, Azerbaijan

The duduk (or doudouk, doudouki, dadouk, doudoug) is an oboe (double-reed instrument) with a cylindrical bore. It is widely played in the Caucasus, in Armenia and Georgia in particular, but also in neighboring countries (Turkey, Iran and Azerbaijan (where it is called balaban).
